No not at all, the ingredients of the massage candle only warm to a few degrees above body temperature. After an even melt pool has formed, extinguish the flame, allow the massage candle to sit for 1 minute and then pour directly onto skin for massaging.
All our massage, skincare and facial candles are made from natural and organic ingredients using the purest of essential oils and body butters. The main ingredient used to create our candles is cosmetic grade soybean wax which is ethically and sustainably sourced. Always patch test and leave at least 24 hours before use, as everyone’s skin is different.
It normally takes around 30-40 minutes by which stage the massage candle has fragranced surroundings setting the scene for a wonderful massage.
The massage candles will provide enough massage oil for at least ten full body massages, a little amount is all that’s required as it has a fantastic ‘slip’ on it that will last for as long as the massage lasts, then it will soak into skin for extra hydration. No but always be sure to trim wick before each use to prevent ‘mushrooming’ of the wick and prevent it from smoking which will interfere with the beautiful fragrance. Also clear any wick debris from the candle before lighting again and do not burn for any more than 4 hours at a time.
Candle de la Crème, together with our suppliers do not test our products or ingredients on animals. We also do not use any third parties to carry out any of those tests.
Yes all our products are vegan-friendly.
We only recommend the use of The Pregnancy Candle for expectant mothers and only during the second and third trimester, customers should consult their GP or midwife should they have any doubts prior to use.
We would always advise staying out of direct sunlight after using our products as they contain pure essential oils which can cause skin sensitivity to sunlight.

No, you do not need to create an account to purchase on our website. You will still receive an order confirmation once your order has been placed successfully.
Unfortunately, once your order is complete, you can no longer add items, or change your order. If you want to add items, you should place another order within 24 hours of your original order, then contact us with both order numbers, and we’ll be happy to refund you the additional delivery charge. You should be able to cancel your order within 24 hours of placing your order, but sometimes our warehouse is really quick at getting the orders out the door and they could have already dispatched it to you, if this is the case we would be unable to cancel it. However, you can return the parcel to us as long as it is as not been opened.
